First off...

That stupid poop circle logo is absolute garbage and does NOT translate on game day. They continue to try to shove it down our throats and its disgusting.

Its literally a default yahoo fantasy football team logo... Its trash and makes us look silly.

I digress.

The scoreboard is a mess. The colors are not blended well and you can't even read it from afar. To busy and whoever created the graphics needs a re-do.

The new lights are sweet... when they stop just randomly shutting off in the middle of the game.

WE looked like a freaking joke show out there from a university perspective.

Thank goodness the football team was out there playing actual football.... holding Illinois state to under 60 yards of total offense? Wow... didn't expect that.

Offense looked pedestrian... however we ran the damn ball almost entirely... and when we didn't it was like we weren't being very creative... just one on ones down field... Eleby has a freaking arm... I think TL was keeping the book pretty closed for this one.

Impressed with the team. Everything else was a freaking joke.

I agree. I’m just here to watch the train wreck. It is frustrating.

As I walked into the entrance by Seelye there were too huge trash containers. Filled with garbage and topped with horse ****. Seriously. So I walk into the gates and first impression was horse **** and trash.

Nice.

I hate to sound like a Debbie downer, but this wasn't the same Communiversity game that I've experienced in the past. I do contribute some of it to Covid but there wasn't the same spirit -- tailgating was certainly down from years past. The band was much smaller than usual. The WMU bookstore/Bernard Center had an unusually light crowd -- even the stadium gear tents seemed thrown together at the last minute. And then you have the mish-mash of new and old gear (mostly old) worn throughout the stadium. It's hard to believe how far we've fallen since 2016.

On the flip side, it was a beautiful day in Kalamazoo, the defense played extremely well, and there was decent student crowd.

Didn’t go to this game, but watched it on TV and listened to Robin Hook on the radio… was delightfully surprised the ISU band was there… I’m glad the BMB traveled to Ann Arbor, but it would be great to at least see an annual battle of the bands vs. central and Ypsilanti State Normal School. BMB would win every time… but more importantly, all of our bands would become better in the stands and for the fans! It’s just a bus ride…

Looking forward to the BMB actually wearing BROWN and GOLD one day. The black unis have to be at least 12 years old…

By the way, I’m good with the Circle W and Buster facing the FORWARD as in “ONWARD FOR THE BROWN AND GOLD…” not “backwards for the Brown and Gold…” I totally get Buster facing West in the old logos, but it’s ok, Buster can face forward and the sun will actually still rise tomorrow.

Just wanted that on record.

Love my Alma Mater!

Go Broncos!! Beat Pitt! Like SERIOUSLY… BEAT PITT!

Tailgating in the Reed parking lot seemed very quiet compared to past years. The outer perimeter was full, but once you got into the middle of the lot (where we were) tailgaters were few & far between. The lot was close to full by gametime, but I think it was mostly people who were walking over to the communiversity tents. Many of them were walking back to their cars as we were walking to the stadium. I still miss when the band used to come marching down the hill to the stadium & also miss the cannon after touchdowns.

They fired the cannon off at the beginning of the game and that was it... it was the full load again... like blow your ear drums out loud.... and it was awesome. And that was it. Super bummed.

I found it almost hilarious that Proudfoot has been pushing this rebrand as a way to consolidate all of the colors and brand profile into a single idea... Yet yesterday I probably saw 1000 different variations and colors of WMU branding across the crowd... on the stadium, on the score board... All he's done is make it even more confusing and it looks awful. I don't hate the move back to brown and gold(yellow)... Go West was a nice brand tagline... and now we move the bronco head to point East... The turd circle W is just elementary... The entire thing just now feels like a reason to spend money that showed up in your budget.

They fired off the cannon after every score. It sounded like a balloon popping... in your neighbors yard.
Triumph seemed spooked when she led the team onto the field. I was waiting for something bad to happen. Nice job by the young lady keeping her under control.

I never heard the cannon after the initial blast.

I was sitting where I could see it. If there wasn't a corresponding puff of smoke I would have never noticed.

I tried to access it through the app. The app took forever to load and I didn't feel like hunting for it. Maybe for next game they can post the QR code online the night before or maybe provide a pdf version. I understand why they are going digital but I still prefer a paper copy of the rosters to glance at during the game. I can print my own.

I never heard it either. We were commenting on the lack of cannon during the game.
