One of my dearest friends is an 81 year old retired Memphis attorney, he just retired last year and is still minorly involved in some cases which were on-going when he retired. While I've seen a slight degree of decline in his acuity it's no more than normal for someone his age. Occasionally he has to pause for a couple of seconds to find the right word(s) but no more than myself at 16 years his junior. He is still so much sharper than 90% of the people I know that I am constantly amazed by his intelligence and his take on various current issues.

I firmly believe that Trump at 90 could still run circles around Biden at 78. My own dearly departed mother could still work the NYT Sunday crossword puzzles at 89. She never lost one bit of mental acuity and was fully aware of everything going on around her until the morphine did her in once she physically declined to the point of requiring palliative care.

In some cases 82 is the new 72. In Biden's case he may as well be 90. As long as Trump is in good physical and mental condition there's no reason for him to stop doing doing anything he wishes to.

That's a fair point. Unfortunately these people far to narcissistic to ever step down if their brain does start to go so it's a gamble on what we are going to be dealing with down the road

That is also a fair point. We are witnessing it with Biden right now.

In Biden's defense, he had pudding for brains his entire life.

Again, I don't trust a single election to be won by a Democrat to be considered being won fair and honestly for the next 6 years..
