Doubtful they murder us at home next Saturday - historically we haven't had much trouble with SMU but haven't played very often - 5-1 all time I think?

I'll go along with "difficult", but I believe this SELU team Tech beat last night is as good as SMU, or better. And that's no smack talk being thrown at SMU. I just doubt very seriously SMU's QB can play as well as SELU's did last night. BTW, his name is Cole Kelley, he's 6'7, 260 lbs, and he completed 44 of 59 passes for 495 yds, 3 TD's and 2 INT's. Remember his name, because I think you'll be hearing about him again in the future.

One of Southern Miss's better newcomers this year is a DE that came from SELU where he was an All-American. He has 2.5 sacks through 2 games.

SELU is ranked 13th in FCS for a reason. They had a very smart QB and a decent sized offensive line. I was just as much impressed with their team as I was disappointed in our defensive scheming. We will know what we have next weekend.

Wow. Impressive. I didn't mention this, but SELU was bigger than LA Tech too, particularly in the OL and DL. I'm not trying to make excuses, because we did after-all WIN the game, but SELU was just not your typical FCS school at all.

A bunch of Baby Hueys! Their OL towered over our DL, and their guys are not fat either...just big. They can pass block extremely well, but not so much run block.

I agree SLU is not your typical FCS team.
