Maybe old news but I saw he was just named a captain for the Raiders. I remember when we landed him, I thought he was the second coming of J Lynch. Wisconsin had to swoop in and the rest is history.

I’m sure there’s quite a list but any other guys we just missed out on that went on to successful careers as far as the NFL. Top of mind I can think of Ben niemann and I think Trey Lance was close to signing with us.

Daviyon Nixon was a NIU recruit until Iowa stole him the week before signing day. He is now on the Carolina Panthers. If there would have been an early signing day a few years ago we probably would have landed both Nixon and Ingold
