Mine was NIUWON. Don't know why I was rejected.

Mine was “puberty burns” in honor of that GT big mouth liberty turns. There were plenty of guys on that board who we’re good fans. But there’s always a couple who need to be put in their place. I may return in a week just to remind them Of their place.

Of all the fan bases we’ve encountered, they have to be up there for self-unawareness, delusion, and just a general lack of knowledge. Not surprised they’re complete *******. Far more impressed by other past P5 fan bases.

The upset fan shots at the end were almost as good as. the Iowa 30-27 game in 2012

Still my favorite in-person upset. Thought I wouldn't make the game due to work until about 1030 the night before, so jumped on ticketmaster or something and bought first tickets I found. Turned out to be the middle of Iowa season ticket holders. 60+ year old man tried to fight me almost the entire game, at one point claiming they were more worried about the next game (was SE Mizzou St or something like that) than they were NIU. When we nailed the FG at the end of the game he turned and looked at me with tears in his eyes before storming off. Never a big fan of grown man tears, but man those ones were delicious!

2013 * but point taken. Sister got her PharmD at Iowa so I have some exposure to those peeps. The walk back to the hotel was epic in Iowa City. Almost dream like given it was 103 degrees on the field that day and I was delirious between beer, stress and the heat.

The GT fans looked stunned. The Iowa fans were mad (then depressed). If you’ve ever seen the highlights, multiple Iowa students are giving D Brown the bird after he scored the tying touchdown. So satisfying to win there. Lol.

Great story. My dad is and was a non traditional student (went back to school after working awhile) and it was a commuter school in Chicago. He makes fun of me as a guy who still roots for a “college” team 15 + years after graduating but stories like this are why the Boneyards are just so freakin sweet.

Liberty Turns:"GT 48-10

The poll needed to have categories for GT by 21-27, GT by 28-34 and GT by 35+ along with a single category for the visitors to suggest NIU has any chance of winning.".

Have a great rest of the Labor weekend, sir.

Reading the GT boards over morning coffee, just for fun.

From Stingtalk:

"If we lose to this Draco Malfoy mf, we should fold the program."

Not going to register and troll, just fun reading how absolutely cocky and disrespectful they are. Had to look up "Draco Malfoy" too, some Harry Potter character. We know what GT fans watch when they're not watching their team lose.

GT fans couldn't wait to get rid of Paul Johnson and his Triple Option offense.
