Because he thought we needed to get out, and getting out without an agreement would have been impossible.

Really? Didn't we do that in Syria?

Weren't as entrenched, hadn't been in as long. Two totally different situations.

Obviously every situation is unique but the point I'm trying to make is that everyone is saying that Trump would have handled it better but what we know from the Trump administration is that we pulled out of Syria without a plan and left equipment and we know that Trump hated people from s hole countries so the precedent is there for how Trump would have handled Afghanistan.

We weren't in Syria to the extent we were in Afghanistan and I doubt you want to compare what was left in Syria to what was left in Afghanistan.
There is absolutely nothing to indicate the fiasco we just saw would have happened under Trump but we get daily examples of how inept Biden and his people are.

There is nothing that can prove that things would have turned out better under Trump.

What I am saying is that based on how he ran things when he was in office, the likelihood that he would have had a better plan is slim to none.

If you disagree then please provide evidence based on how he governed that things would have been different.

If you disagree then please provide evidence based on how he governed that things would have been different.

Based on his interviews, I believe he would've pulled the civilians out first, never gave up BAFB, and there possibly wouldn't had been any lost lives or anyone not able to get to the Air Force Base...

This is based on a promise he made during this election stating he'd move the embassy from Tel Aviv back to Jerusalem which he did.

I'm sure he would've held the Taliban back because unlike Biden he has shown backbone and ordered Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani (who were both enemies to the US and known terrorist) to be taken out of the gene pool.

While you keep screaming "Trump made the deal, this isn't Biden's fault"... I must remind you once again, Trump was not re-elected and was planning to be fully out of Afghanistan in May before the weather warmed up. The attempted pull out by Biden's administration which gave up the closest air field to get civies out was done in August, a full 7 months after Biden was sworn in. This deal is not on Trump, this is on Biden.

Furthermore, when you plan to do something of this nature you tend to want to inform your allies in NATO.

Biden didn't do that, they all were shocked at the pull out. Trump would've contacted them and discussed it, they hated him, but hell it was mainly because he began making them contribute their fair share to NATO.

Now, I've given you my points, you keep saying "This was Trump's deal". If it wasn't "Trump's Deal", how would've Biden done it and it been a roaring success? And I want you to give me evidence based on his governing for the last 47 years.

You mean like how he had the border situation under better control than Biden? Like how he brought ISIS under control? Like how he had the economy humming pre-covid? Like how he had us on the road to energy independence? Joe's been nothing but a clown show so far. I can see why you like him.

We both agree that the pullout is on Biden. Even Biden has taken responsibility for it.

The argument is whether or not Trump would have done better.

You said yes based on interviews.

Please provide quotes from those interviews or links.

I'm done with this. You can't seem to ever quote anything and I'm not spending the time pulling links.

You can't seem to do it, so neither will I.

Also you haven't agreed to anything, instead you keep screaming that this was Trump's deal. When you admit that it's not Trump's deal maybe I'll post the links for you to not watch.

I knew you had nothing that's why I asked the question.
