RE: Kudos to Louisiana
As of a zoom call last night App State will not be mandating vaccines nor masks in outdoor seating areas in attendance at Kidd Brewer.

Fans will have the liberty to choose whether they wear masks or attend.

I know the definition of a common word was difficult earlier, but if you can’t see the difference here I’m wasting my time. Can’t let you drag down a level and beat me with experience.

I thought Liberty was being discussed. Not which disease is worse. I think George Washington knew a thing or two about liberty. He mandated inoculation.

But feel free to claim being drug down to whatever level you think I'm exposing.

However, once/if hospitals hit triage status, a nurse/doctor/admin team who have been fighting this virus for 16+ months will be the one to determine who gets what and in what priority. Unvaxed covid cases probably won't be allowed to take up resources for cardiac/cancer/accidents/etc. and nor should they.

LOL, "our society".

You may be surprised at who all isn't apart of "your society". Just the thought that "Your society" is what runs things is a main reason there is so much distrust and confrontation.

I don't know what kind of weirdness you're talking about, bud. I'm just talking about the country we live in and how one of its most important documents that states a freedom of association. The highest court in the land has rules that due to freedom of association there are institutions, organizations, companies that have the 1st amendment right to decide who they want to participate.

I’d like to know if this mandate is for fall semester? If so, did they wait until tuition was due to announce?

Last year many colleges waited to inform families classes would be remote post tuition deadlines.

Follow the money.

I assume you are talking about the US Constitution. Which at no point states anything about freedom of association.
Now, there may have been several court cases within the past several decades that have interpreted the rights listed in the 1st amendment to include the freedom of association, but these interpretations are wrong as far as the original purpose of the 1st amendment.

Damn, this forum has become overrun by the 12 crabby nut jobs of Yosef's Cabin.

Please ignore the escapees from the asylum.

RE: Kudos to Louisiana
Whatever happened to talking football and/or other sports? What is being accomplished on this thread by arguing whether or not the right thing to do is get vaccinated or not to get vaccinated, or whether it is right or wrong. No one has offered an opinion that is going to change anyone else's opinion. Good grief, football season is almost upon us and we all can hope and pray this Delta Variant doesn't limit our ability to go and every game unmasked or even worse, denied admission to any games where our teams go head-to-head with the other guys. I have refused until this day to take the COVID-19 vaccination until a higher power kicked me in the butt and I relented and got the damn shot. I respect anyone's right to refuse to take it, but please do not take a chance and give the decease to someone else that may be sitting next to you at the game. If you do I hope your team loses. (unless, of course your team is South Alabama's Jaguars. 05-nono

Eh, I tried to give this thread a chance but it’s probably best to close it before it gets too out of hand. If you want to debate vaccines, please go to the Spin Room.
