I found myself rooting for FSU when they were the up-and-comer against Oklahoma in those 80's (70's?) orange bowls.
I always hated Switzer but I found Bowden to be a likable fella.
Hey, you can't complain if you get 91 years.

I became a fan when, in a post game interview, he was asked about running up the score. He said something like It's their job to keep us from scoring.
The game will miss him.

While I respected Coach Bowden for what he did as a coach, it was his off the field life I admired most. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his faith and family.
If there was ever a Godly man to emulate, Coach Bowden was it.
I never got to see him speak at a PK gathering but have heard he was amazing.

Bobby once told the reason he doesn't stop scoring in one of his interviews. I couldn't find it on YouTube but he said, He had his team stop trying to score when hit 50 points and the other team came back and beat them. I think it was when he was with WVU. He said that's why he doesn't stop trying to score any more.
