I have a feeling that dems know that a red wave is coming in 2022 and they had best make people as miserable as possible while they still can. Nancy, drunk on power is thankfully a lame duck speaker. She's going to power trip as much as she can until the very end which can't come soon enough.

Members of the GOP have made it clear that they won’t be complying with this mandate, but no one put his rebellion more succinctly than Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie who not only made it clear that Pelosi is out of line for even bringing back the mask mandate, but that he’s going to teach her that she’s not actually as powerful as she thinks she is.
Massie created a video standing in front of Pelosi’s office with a copy of the Capitol Hill police chief’s directive to his officers to arrest and detain anyone without a mask, vaccinated or no. The congressman made it clear that her power grab is based on fake science and that she’s using these same falsehoods to enact power over everyone else with the capitol police as her muscle.
“She has no law. She has no authority to do this,” said Massie. “It’s ridiculous. We will not wear a mass. None of my staff is going to comply with this edict.”
“She thinks she’s queen…queen of congress,” he continued.
Massie made it a point to show the viewers that he was standing on the line where the House ends and the Senate begins and that by simply taking one step to either side, the law to arrest maskless people is either enforceable or not.
“It’s ridiculous, it’s unconstitutional, it’s illegal, and Nancy Pelosi does not have the authority to do this,” Massie explained. “She’s trying to do it, we’re going to resist.”
Massie reminded everyone that he’s already filed a lawsuit against her in federal court just this week, and speculated that he may have to file a second one over this issue in order to remind her of her position and the limits of her power.
“We’ll take her to court,” said Massie. “We’ll take her all the way to the Supreme Court if we have to. She’s not the queen of this country. She’s not even the queen of the Capitol, and she needs to start behaving like a representative of the people of the United States instead of like a dictator and a hypocrite.”
Massie told everyone to go on C-SPAN so they can witness Pelosi defying her own law by not wearing a mask while she issued this edict.
“She is a hypocrite and a tyrant. This needs to stop and we are fighting her today,” concluded Massie.
Massie’s “come at me bro” attitude should be the standard attitude around the House for everyone from the GOP to random visitors. Democrats can cower all they want, but this Massie is correct. This is far beyond anything the House Speaker has the power to do.
Hats off to Massie for standing up and reminding Pelosi that despite her delusions, she’s still a public servant who operates within the bounds of the law.

New rules published Wednesday, “Wearing of Masks Mandatory at All Times for USCP Personnel in Interior Spaces on Capitol Ground,” note that all Capitol personnel must mask up.
“Therefore, effective immediately, to promote the good health and well-being of our employees, all USCP personnel must wear a mask at all times when in interior spaces throughout the Capitol Grounds,” the document states, saying the policy should be enforced for “all staff and visitors.” “Any person who fails to either comply or leave the premises after being asked to do so would be subject to an arrest for unlawful entry.”
“Although this applies to Members of Congress, officers should not arrest any Member for failure to wear a mask or to comply with the mask mandate. Any Member who fails to comply with a request to wear a mask should be reported to the House Sergeant at Arms’ office,” the document prescribes. “If a staffer, who is accompanying a Member, refuses to wear a mask, that refusal should be noted and reported to a supervisor who will, in turn, refer the matter to the House Sergeant at Arms.”
As The Federalist reported on Wednesday, the top physician in Congress was caught without a mask while lecturing Republicans on Pelosi’s new mandate.
Nadler’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

So who will be the first person drug away in handcuffs? If Nancy Pelosi has any consistency, the answer is herself. We know that’s not going to happen, though.
Only one of the following two statements can be true. Either the moment you go to take a picture, the virus becomes non-communicable, making it safe to remove one’s mask, or alternatively, this is all silly theater, masks don’t work, and Pelosi’s breaking of her own protocol, which she’s enforcing via arrest, is nonsensical on its face. Yeah, I’m gonna go with the second option.
Pelosi re-instituting a mask mandate in a building where almost everyone is vaccinated, inside of a city that has had three times as many people die of homicide vs. COVID in the last two weeks was nothing but a partisan, political move. Yes, virtue-signaling was part of it because that’s always part of it for the left, but the move was also to force Republicans into a contentious situation where, if they defied her, they’d be accused of spreading the virus and harming others. Never mind that it’s Texas Democrats that seemingly caused the latest outbreak in the White House and among some Congressional staffers. Any future infections will be blamed on Republicans who don’t mask despite the lack of correlation between masking and spread.
Poking at Republicans was the goal. I believe that’s probably a miscalculation, though. While those deeply ingrained in the beltway will laud Pelosi’s move, I think most Americans will look at it as yet more unwarranted politicization of the pandemic. People are tired of the double-speak and contradictions. They are sick of being told vaccinations mean no masks only to have the rug pulled out from under them simply because politicians are too cowardly to lead and own the consequences of their leadership.
At this point, some staffer needs to take one for the team and make the USCP arrest them over lack of a mask. The juxtaposing of that with Pelosi’s behavior would be well worth the citation issued.

Murphy, Sabatini continued, “is not fit for office and probably not mentally stable”:
National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) communications director Michael McAdams also slammed the Democrat for the obscenity.
“House Democrats can’t handle being held accountable for their radical actions so they’re resorting to making obscene gestures at young female staffers,” said McAdams.
As Breitbart News reported Friday, the video emerged after the House Speaker “was caught twice within hours breaking the new mask mandate she imposed in the House of Representatives forcing anyone walking the halls of Congress, even the vaccinated, to wear a mask with the threat of being arrested”:
In May, Murphy suddenly backtracked on her Senate primary bid against Rep. Val Demings (D-FL) and is, instead, running to retain her congressional seat. Faced with Sabatini’s challenge, Murphy has labeled Sabatini an “extremist Trump supporter.”
“It’s crucial that we show grassroots strength when those numbers [donations] are made public, or else people like Sabatini will feel even more emboldened,” she wrote in a campaign fundraising email.
“Murphy votes in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi’s socialist agenda and will be fired by Floridians in 2022,” the NRCC stated.
