I did a quick count of remaining single game tickets on Saturday, and it was down to 11,899 available for the first game. I’ll try to get another count this weekend to compare.

When Southern Miss is 2-4 before that game, you can bet you'll find some deals on Stubhub.

I hope ticket office will go back to every single-game buyer and offer them a season ticket and mini-pack upgrade option to steer butts in seats to the Rice, La Tech and UTEP games. I'd give them a nice discount for UTEP given that it's up against the Iron Bowl (unless it moves to Friday)

There's a decent number of seats that are greyed out when viewing the single game ticket map because they're being held for season tickets for now. I wonder when they'll release these into the single game population. For instance section 106 is "sold out" of single game tickets but there's 100+ seats in that section available for a season ticket purchase.

So with a capacity of 47,000, we've sold roughly 27k tickets so far to the Liberty game after removing the student section, band, and visitor section from the total population of seats. Including the band and students we'd have a crowd of about 30k if kickoff was tomorrow.

I wonder how long they'll hold the seats designated as season tickets before releasing them into the single game population.

Holding over 6,000 seats for potential season tickets seems a bit excessive, but it does make the single game portal look more sparse.

My guess would be just after Labor Day.

I agree. They've likely (hopefully) planned a significant marketing campaign once football season starts.

I wouldn’t close off season tickets until after that Georgia game, just in case

This week saw a net increase of 278 new season tickets.
There were 630 total tickets sold to the Liberty game this week.
