As some of you know, I had major eye surgery not long ago, and as part of the recovery I'm not yet supposed to read (I'm cheating for 30 seconds just to write this message).

Along with many other things, I really do miss the folks here and in the rest of the Parliament. If you feel like just saying hello, please give me a shout by phone, which will be my only regular means of communications for the time being (you can ask Owl#s, Tanq, Hambone or MrBig, among others, for my info). We don't even need to talk about politics -- unless you really want to.

A thousand thanks to those of you who reached out -- you each made my day! I am now cleared to begin reading a little bit, but writing is still a strain, so I won't be diving into the fray for a while yet. And of course I'd still love to hear from you by phone.
