How will CUSA do vs the AAC this fall?

9/11 UNT @ SMU
9/11. Rice vs Houston
9/18. Marshall vs ECU
9/18. La Tech vs SMU
9/25. UAB @ Tulane
9/25. UTSA @ Memphis

I'm guessing CUSA will be 3-4 vs that schedule.

I say CUSA goes 4-3. Marshal will win 2 of 'em, by beating Navy and ECU. LA Tech beats SMU in Ruston and UAB beats Tulane in New Orleans.

Despite the fact that UNT fans will likely outnumber SMU fans again in Dallas, I'm pretty sure we will be contributing to the loss category here.

I see 1 possibly 2 but wouldn’t be shocked by 0.

I will put in a reminder to revisit this on 9/26.

North Texas always has at least one AAC home and home series in our OOC schedule (SMU). In addition to those games, we also have series with Memphis and Tulane scheduled.

As for the SMU game this season... They are going to clobber us. They may be a top 15/access bowl contender this year. Dykes has been a master of the transfer portal, and the NIL ruling is tailor made for Pony Excess. UNT is going to have to formulate a real plan to compete with SMU or they will leave us further in the dust.
