1954 U.S. Capitol shooting
On March 1, 1954 Three Puerto Rico nationalists seeking a free and independent Puerto Rico, open fire (30 rounds) with semi-automatic pistols from the gallery of the U.S. House of Representatives wounding 5 House representatives, including one seriously. They also planned to assassinate President Eisenhower

Some perspective

So the one woman involved in that episode, Lolita Lebrón, entered the US Capitol more heavily armed (all by herself) than the whole crowd of January 6th.

Interwebs says her name at birth was Lolita Sotomayor. I wonder if any of the current members of the US Supreme Court consider her to have been a “wise Latina”?
