Red beat the White 14-6 on the final spring scrimmage at Razorback Stadium.

Red's 2 TDs were a 25 yd pass from Ryan Sorahan to a wide open George Wilson, and a 14 yd run by TB Dedrick Poole.

White had 2 FGs from PK David Carlton

The Good....

I like the deep passing... Stephen Harris caught 3 great bombs that wowed the crowd. Sorahan looks best when he's rolling out of the pocket and firing, especially when the roll is a bootleg.

Cobbs looks in-shape and ready to roll. Nutt finally did the right thing in making Cedric go work with John McDonnell and the track team. McDonnell, who has a tight leash on his team, disciplined Cobbs, made him lose 20 lbs, and worked him to death. It's paying off.

Dedrick Poole looks like the next Talley..the quick burst that Talley has you can see in Poole. Poole's not as fast to the hole yet..but he's getting there.

Jones looks great as a WR, but chances are he'll start at QB this year.

The Bad....

Punting... no punting... we're gonna miss Richie Butler this year.

Line looks a lil out-of-shape. Big Shawn needs to drop 30 lbs. to get a chance at being a back-to-back All-American.

Overall.... B.. I'd give it worse..but granted.. most of our defensive players are either injured or running track. Plus it's spring, so you can't expect this team to be running on all cylinders just yet.
