Might be stupid because Big Pharma has so much power, but it still could very well be the right thing to do.

Moderna is being paid 2.5bil for 100mil doses. That included 1bil for research. They made out like freaking bandits in the night. WE PAID FOR THIS RESEARCH.

Phizer made 1.95bil for 100mil doses. Once again made out like bandits in the night. Also we already have an order for 500mil more doses from Phizer.


Now. Ask either one of those companies.. Hey if you had the opportunity to do this all over again would you say no?

Of course not, they would jump all over those billions.


Dont try to act like Big Pharma is being screwed here. They are the ones doing the screwing and will continue to do the screwing. As long as there is Big Pharma, there is no chance of having a universal healthcare that isnt crap.

I’m all for intellectual property rights when a company spends its own R&D dollars and takes the risk of marketability, but that simply wasn’t the case here.

Are you referring to your moral compass? I can say without a doubt that it isnt worth it for me to even get started in a debate with you over it. My morals are on an opposite spectrum as yours. Sometimes there is a clear right and wrong that transcends whatever silly laws or words on paper may say. Big Pharma are the largest crooks on the planet and need to be slashed down to size.
