I think Shakif is our only guy we lose considered as production? And because of his absense, we built some depth at that position last year.

In 2020 I probably picked CMU or WMU to compete with us. Ball was a little out of nowhere. This season has to be the year with how consistent our D was (outside of 2 minute drills).

Every game is winnable... we need a full Glass Bowl to cheer em on and make em remember why they chose to be Rockets.

Sharif barely played last year, so really not considered a loss but would have loved to have him another year.

The defense should do real fine this year.

The offense needs a QB. There are a lot of candidates but for gosh sakes a decision needs to be made. Picking a guy the day before the first game just does not work out real well. The offense needs to have a leader at least a couple weeks before the season starts. It is great that there is plenty of competition but the last minute decision making hurts the team.

Of course, we need a solid backup and even a terrific #3 guy but the team needs to know early on who is the offensive leader. This is especially true with our QBs having different skill sets. One guy is a great runner. Another guy has a cannon for an arm.

We have way too many offside and stupid penalties. Having the #1 offense work together should eliminate some of these ridiculous game altering blunders.

I agree it is not a good sign. It basically tells you that no one is separeting themselves from the pack.

Bradley is probably the starter. OL and Special Teams are the big issues.

Judging by the "spring" game our OL needs a lot of work. Pass and run blocking were not good. Quickness and communication seemed to be lacking. On a positive, it could be that our DL has finally arrived and with depth!

Don't want to see the Rockets rush for -10 yds in a quarter against a . 500 MAC team. Got some great
Skill players they deserve more help.
