Can you define what "my era" would be? Is that just people that were actively playing during my time on Earth, when I first started paying attention to sports, etc.?

It's a tough exercise because the various rules changes have transformed the NFL and NBA into Fake Football and Fake Basketball respectively. Ovechkin's scoring in NHL is hard to quantify since you're not allowed to hit anyone anymore. Tiger Woods on all Sports but not Nicklaus, Palmer, Player is quite laughable. Golf didn't start in 1997.

True, I saw Nicklaus and palmer but I chose Woods because he moved the meter more than they did,taking nothing away from them. I told you it was hard

What would be your hockey one be if you had to field a team. You can't play 3 goalies (although having witnessed the dual between Hasek and Brodeur in 94. I can see how you would be tempted)

Probably Patrick Roy, with all the Stanley Cups he won with the Canadiens and the Avalanche. Brodeur is very good as well.

Compared to Citrus UCF and I, I think you're pretty old, Ken d. Sandy Koufax hung up the cleats by the time I was born. Now maybe back in my dad's or my grandpa's time, Koufax was still pitching. That is a possibility. My dad wasn't a Dodger fan though. He used to be a Braves fan. Now my grandpa was a Dodger fan, but unfortunately, he's no longer alive.

I was a big Dodger fan like my dad, starting a couple of years before Walter Alston took the reins from Charley Dressen. The first time I saw Koufax play, his first pitch went at least three feet over the batter's head. He knew how to throw hard, but he hadn't yet learned how to pitch. Once he figured it out he was almost unhittable.

I am going to assume we can only pick 4 from era of watching.

Pedro was a great pitcher, but he nor Rivera were greater than Maddux or Johnson.
