Exclamation Week 7: FB at Ticks
Game should be on NBC Sports Washington, in addition to the Flo option. Biggest question is who is in and out for JMU I suppose. Percy should be back since he should get to practice this week. If Cole starts, I think he's on a short leash, but hopefully is W&M Cole and not RMU/Elon Cole.

JMU 10 point favorites at the moment. Sounds like Tyler Stephens, Percy, among others will be back this week.

RE: Week 7: FB at Ticks
Richmond looks banged up on Offense. Mancuso has a good set of receivers, so we'll need to limit the run game.

Defensively, their front 7 is very strong.

Same old song for JMU. Run the ball and stop their run game we should get a W.

RE: Week 7: FB at Ticks
Calling them "ticks" was kinda cool back in the day. Then, even reasonably rational people started realizing that calling them "ticks" was a lack of knowledge by the one doing the labeling. Today, the insult "ticks" has pretty much run its course and in truth they are valuable members of an ecosystem. A compliment to our mother earth if you will. Something to be seen in nature with pride. Much different than 30+ years ago when simple minded people expressed simple minded viewpoints on zoology.

So, just consider every time a JMU grad/fan refers to those at UR as "ticks", it just makes JMU look inferior in the intellectual department. The label and reference has lost its luster. As some might say, the 1980's called and wants its lame label back - mainly because it truthfully was arrogant with no substance in the first place back then.

But, carry on. When JMU is referenced as "puppies", then embrace it. It's a compliment because those who are saying it are really stupid and very narrow minded.

Am I a bad person if I rip those blood suckers from my skin and burn them or if I'm feeling nice, flush them down the toilet?

Way too much PC culture ... first Nerds and now Ticks being defended.

Everyone knows what a Tick is, a small annoying pest that needs to be destroyed!

I do admit it does make me chuckle to see those 70-75 yr old Spider fans decked out in those old sweater vests. (the same ones they wore celebrating the great Tangerine Bowl victory of 1968).

They do tend to get a bit grumpy when they we turn the breadbox purple. 03-lmfao

Bet all 5 of them are quite pleased with the covid rules and hoping no tickets offered for sale.
