We didn't. He left. He was almost out the door in 2016 for a crappy unlv job. He's a really good coach whose recruiting fell off a cliff after he jarron's class because he didn't want to be here

His recruiting may have fallen but they were going to be a top 20 team preseason if he stayed, but he wanted to be here. Mike Bohn didn’t want him to be here and that’s why he’s at UCLA.

It is EXTREMELY impressive mental gymnastics to say a guy who accepted then had second thoughts about a bad UNLV program wouldve turned down UCLA 03-lmfao. Give it a rest.

Obviously you know nothing about that situation but if it makes you feel better...

I feel great, man...couldn't care less about that situation since it's two years in the past. As I've said three times now, give it a rest, move on.

I care because UC’s basketball program is in absolute shambles because the previous AD’s ego.

I’m not trying to say Mick is John Wooden or anything, but he’s way better than Brannen and likely way better than any of the options to replace Brannen despite the March failures.

I think you're confused...I agree with you 03-lmfao. I'm just not worried about it because at the end of the day, the more important sport is humming, and we will be ok.

Alabama is really, really good. This isn’t going to end very close.

This is just the purest form of a swarm defense. Every guy is 6'6" plus and switching everything...jump doubles when they push inside the 12 foot circle, hands one every ball. On offense they play modern ball...drives and kicks pretty much exclusively.

I love the way that Alabama plays, but I think this one stays close. It has the feel of becoming a slugfest, and that could go either way if so.

How many steps did that Quinnerly guy take on his fake out pass? Picks it up, fakes behind the back pass, fakes shot, passes over the head. All at a dead sprint without taking a dribble.

I've figured out what Cronin's problem in the post season is.

ME.

The moment I turned on the UCLA game they were up 40-29. It almost instantly became 40-40.

And I love having a competitive game after the first two today. Really looking forward to Oregon-USC.

Alabama has a bunch of guys who are 6-6 and are as fast as Mike Saunders. It’s nuts. They can drive on almost any possession.

Is it just me or does Mick seem more relaxed on the sideline? Not quite as tense in the neck and temple areas.

He knows they are over matched and are hanging in. He still loses his mind most games.

Probably doesn't hurt he's an 11 seed that had to win the play-in game. Everything is gravy at this point. Credit to the man. His team is battlin' and executin'...

I’m really impressed they have the game ties at the under 3:00 timeout.

Been a great game but UCLA is gassed and just lost its best scorer.

Yep. On house money after winning 3 games already.
