SO FAR ... and let's emphasize that ... compared to most leagues the MAC has been hit by numbers, but not by marquee losses. Jackson was a 4-year senior at UT expected to go pro (and still might) ... the biggest hit looks to be the Coleman kid at Ball State, and the big kid Titus Wright at Western Michigan. Nuga, of course, is a big loss ... if he ultimately goes, but that is about it.
No word yet on Preston at Ohio, but the big OU inside senior starter has said he is returning, so is Plowden at BG and I believe the BG sixth man as well. The guess is LCJ at Akron is turning pro, but nothing official so he could be back as well. Graves said he is done at UB after four years.
Overall, the young teams in the league (CMU, Akron, OU), other than Western, all seem to be pretty much holding together, even though all have had transfers.
The rest of the transfers around the league seem to be bench players or role players, if they played much at all. Let's hope it stays that way all around the league.
