OT: BG Raises $255M In Capital Campaign
BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University announced that the university raised over a quarter of a billion dollars with its Changing Lives For the World campaign.

During a virtual ceremony on Thursday, BGSU president Rodney Rogers announced that the public university raised a total of $255,242,831.88 — making the campaign the largest comprehensive fundraising endeavor in university history.

So my question is what ever happened to UT's capital campaigns? I know there are those who work at UT who might answer the question.

I may be wrong, but I don't think we completed a campaign since before Jacobs was president. There were a few in the works, but none that went to the public phase to the best of my knowledge. And the amount was $200M. That's a disgrace for a school that is graduating doctors, lawyers, pharmacists and engineers. I may be wrong, but in the time span I mentioned we should have had two campaigns for at least $500M.

Right now, there are large amounts of people who have seen their investment earnings skyrocket. What is UT doing?
