Rockets got within three points in the third quarter but for most of the fourth quarter couldn't hit a bucket. Ball State made 22 points from the foul line and hit 12 three points shots. Rockets were 9 of 12 from the stripe. Too much talent on the BSU team.

Halle Idowu had a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Quinesha Lockett led the Rockets with 24 points in 30 minutes of court time.

Cardinals shot 50% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. 22 of 27 from the foul line. Rockets interior defense was good but got burned from the Cardinals outside shooting.
