wichita state will have played 12 of 20 conference games

and if they win that 12th game at tulane, they win the conference

what a farce

we should have stopped playing after being 1-0 in the conference and be conference champs

Exactly. this ridiculously absurd detail hit me awhile back.

Wichita is +21 points on their opponents this season in the aac. Memphis is +96 (we played one more game,1/2 game behind them). Houston is +225 (they've played 4 more games than the shockers). Amazing.

What a ****** up year this is.

Of course Houston and Wichita state don’t want to reschedule. They both have more to lose than we do.

Wichita state is in the field unless they lose both games to smu. If smu beats Wichita state twice then smu is in.

If we win last 3 including in Houston we still out. Been laying the scenario out for weeks.

First off the SMU/Wichita games aren't rescheduled. Second Wichita state isn't in the field right now. Nor would SMU get in if they beat Wichita St.

Lastly a Memphis team with 3 straight road wins one of those being at Houston and if they win 2 games in the conf tourney (if it's played) would probably get in.

Aint no probably about it...

If Memphis wins the next 3 they are absolutely in.

Nope

Thank God people with brains and computers will be evaluating it.

You've lost your minds.

The agreement was IF the first game CAN not be rescheduled...Some of us are just questioning whether the first game was attempted to be rescheduled. If no fair attempt to reschedule was made, then the 2nd part of that agreement (to move the game to the other team) should not be enforced.

I wouldn't be surprised if WE didn't try to reschedule it. 4 games in 8 days with 3 road games would have been a tall task. With Lomax out until at least Houston, we are probably catching a break. We do need him at Houston. They are a totally different animal than Cincinnati is. They will put pressure on the ball that Baugh, Boogie and LQ won't be able to deal with.
