Long story, but quickly....a buddy of mine invited me to a USC-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl in 1998. He's a huge USC fan. Anyway, had a blast. It's nothing like SEC ball, but fun nonetheless. I've been going to a game a year out there with him almost every year since and have become a pretty big Trojan fan, secondly of course.
Went to the Auburn-USC game at the LA Coliseum last year....some Aub fans saw me with my Ole Miss hat on and cheered. Alright, we got an SEC fan here with us all the way in LA. I told them, "Sorry, GO TROJANS"!!!!! They were none too happy!!
Been following them since '98, had a tour of the campus, saw their facilities that I wasn't even allowed into, been to several games, etc etc....Kind of grown on me!
But they will NEVER take the place of my Rebs!!!!
