McConnell isn't his own. It's about time MAGA nation realized this.

Eventually the Trump rhetoric will tire out everyone and everyone will move on. He is gaslighting at this point and that could fracture the party in a way that would make them unelectable in 2 and 4 years because their votes would be split against a "unified" democratic party. Trump is not electable because he is detestable as a person and that will eventually turn all the republicans against him once they come to that realization.

As we settle into the Harris administration, the real Republican contenders will emerge and few if any of them will hitch their wagon to Trump. If these contenders are smart, they will take the Trump policies and ignore the Trump language and hype. His overall policies are pretty good. Not perfect (nobody has a perfect platform), but they are good.

- People are already seeing how out of touch new dem policies are with the common folk - that whole elections have consequences thing....
- The impeachment went exactly as expected and did the exact opposite of unifying people
- The opposition to stopping the wall and allowing people across the border with less than a slap on the wrist
- The pipeline thing is really not going well either. Ironically that has very little to do with recent increases in gas prices, but it is taking the blame which is fine with me
- They have PO'd women with the new transgender in sports policy
- After 12 months the Covid response now is no better that it has been at any time previously. JB had A LOT of time to digest what was going on and he knew well in advance that the vaccine would be in distribution when he took charge. He did not have much of a distribution plan - at least nothing that varied greatly from what he says he "inherited". That is "political diversion" 101.
- Suddenly China is pushing back on the offensive after being on their heels for the last 3 years and there is NO response from JB other than "awe shucks"...
- The Antifa "idealists" are still wreaking havoc on cities and the Harris administration has not even mentioned it once. This group is not against Trump, they are against America. The lack of Federal response to all the property and business damage is going to become a big problem at some point.
- The same goes with BLM. They are currently covered under the shield of "diversity". The problem is that big business needs profits; as soon as these places see real live sagging bottom lines because they are spending time and money on employees who are not qualified to advance the corporate agenda (AKA - Profits), diversity is going to fade into the ether....


Trump's policies were absolutely not perfect, but a solid candidate can put them up against any / all of the above and run with them. Trumps policies were also not "anti Diversity" as portrayed by the media and the Dems. The difference between he and the current policies and narrative is that Trump promoted making as many opportunities available as possible for diverse candidates to take advantage of on their own; the Dem/Media version is that they want to just hand it to you without merit. Trump - Work for it and it's yours - it is there for the taking.
