When we only play 7 guys, we need solid contributions from all 7...that didn’t happen in these back-to-back losses. Given that we had a week off I’m disappointed. 2 more games in 6 days...very tough & important stretch that will now define Rocket basketball.

I don't know about the uninspired but the plan B, that's how I'm seeing it too. The disadvantage of all-in to a canned offense is it becomes an easy study for the other teams. Need a fall back. I also think they put the ball into Rollin's hands too soon. Could be just perception but I think the shooting has fallen as he's been given more responsibility with the ball. I didn't feel early on that he is a pg and I still don't. Maybe they are trying to work him into it but for now, I think the ball should be consistently in the Senior's hands and let the Freshman as talened as he is, concentrate in shooting guard.

No lazy play (other than the passes). No selfish play. Even losing they have been fun to watch. Any corrections and adjustments needed are Coach K's and MJ's to make and we see if after a few losses, they remain a team playing team ball. A good challenge for them.

Rollins has had some bad games lately and this was one. I'm not picking on him, but today he seemed uninterested or tired or both. Couldn't dribble, shoot or even at the end walk as he fell down twice untouched. He was great until five or six games ago. Did he hit the wall freshmen often do?

Post game TK says "this is the very best BG has played all year". Hope we don't start seeing this from very team we play. Miami will be looking for revenge. Come on Rockets!!!!!!

Bg played well but you can’t shoot that many 3s as Toledo did and have that poor of a make % and win.

Is it me or are they not getting to the line nearly as much as early in conf play? There’s no effort early to go inside and be aggressive. Just chuck and duck 3s.

Well, the stats will prove or disprove that, but I agree—it just seems like the past few games—including 2 in a row losses—we just throw up 3s and nobody even wants to go in the paint.

Rollins 4\30 overall shooting and 1\16 3s since we were comparing him to Ron Harper! Was that a jinx or what?

The box score shows the Rockets with 12 turnovers and giving up 22 points off to's but watching the game it felt more like 20 to's and 30 pts to me.

I know some folks were concerned Rollins might transfer “up” after this season...but I think hes looked much more human the past 4 or 5 games.

I think he’s seemed gassed for the past 2-3 weeks. All of his perimeter shots are short.

Before jumping off the ledge and thinking this season is getting away from the Rockets, I think we need
to sit back and see how the team handles “real” adversity for the first time this season. Sure we are not shooting the ball very well, especially from the three point line and our defense has not stopped anyone the last couple of games which is very concerning. However, this is a 20 game gauntlet and we are still in first place with Akron ½ game behind. We have 6 games left on the schedule with the next two against Miami at home and Buffalo on the road probably are two most difficult. Win both games and we’re in excellent shape for the stretch run. Split the two games and we’re still in position to win the regular season championship as the top contenders Akron, Kent, Buffalo, Ohio, Miami and even BG beat up on each other while we play the bottom feeders NIU, WMU and CMU before finishing with Ball St. Lose both games and then you can say with certainty “Houston We Got A Problem”! Getting back to this game in particular, you have to give props to BG for playing probably their best game of the season. There two seniors, J. Turner (21 points) and D. Plowden (22 points) were excellent today and played possessed knowing their season was getting away from them after losing 6 games in a row. Hopefully our senior leaders M. Jackson and S. Littleson take that adversity from losing two in a row and turn that into some motivation to help get the team back on track with this important two game stretch coming up.
