Obviously, the high school recruiting is not very good, BUT Clark does a great job sniffing out transfers, injured guys that have healed, JUCO players, etc.

The shutdown impacted the recruiting.
We managed to get the players that won 3 straight division titles and 2 championships.

Only thing that matters. And you can't say he's doing it with players from The Return. These are all Clark players and all Clark winning.

We get to keep playing ten seniors, grown up guys with time in the system and playbook. Quality guys. They may not show up on the recruiting but they'll be on the field kicking butt next season. We'll look that much better on our new stadium because of them.

I understand that they are not recruits who will be moving up and filling the roster over four or five years to come, and that they don't replace better recruiting. I also understand that next season is going to be big for us, and that being successful there will have an influence on the next recruiting class.

Our class this year was gonna be worse...alot of SR's came back and that plays in kids minds with playing time

Call me crazy, but that was not only UAB’s or Clark’s problem...which makes the class “rankings” even more ridiculous.

The worst part of the current recruiting classes are losing out on so many local, 2nd level players. Those typically ranked between #50-#100 instate. On the flip side, Clark does not sign hardly any clunkers. Most everybody he has signed can play. At least on the CUSA level.
