Rice plays New Orleans today.

Georgia Tech @ UAB UAB falls to Georgia Tech

Rice defeats UNO 73-62 after being down by 5 at the half.

Outscored the (D1) winless UNO squad 53-37 in the 2nd half.

Rice enters conference play 6-2 (4-2 D1) but hasn't beaten a D1 team with a win yet... So it's quite difficult to judge us.

Well that's not entirely true but none of the D1 teams we've beaten have any wins over another D1 team. Incarnate Word is 1-3 with a win over Our Lady of the Lake (and an overtime loss at Wyoming among their losses). HBU is 1-7 but their only win is over Champion Christian. UNO is also 1-7 with its lone win over Florida National. But they were competitive in a 3-point loss to Louisiana.

Got it, yeah I was just looking at their records on Warren Nolan which doesn’t include non-D1 games in records.

Bassey will NOT be playing tonight due to back spasms. Frampton will start in his place but I think it should be Rawls (or maybe even McKnight) over Frampton.
