UNCC didn't want another loss, Healy knows who his daddy is as does Sanchez.

The MB will be a permanent bowl usm99, it was added last offseason and will rotate opponents from SBC, CUSA, and MAC.

I am just hoping NT can keep it competitive. Happy for the kids getting a chance to play. But, we really don't belong in a bowl game. Not even close.

Which NT defense will show up ? An average defense that can hold the opponent under 30 points ? Or, the terrible defense that will get lit up for 40+ ?

With Darden not playing, nor Austin Aune, it could get ugly if Jason Bean cannot get it done at QB.

The best chance NT has is to run the ball successfully, not turn the ball over, let Jason Bean occasionally do his thing with his legs and pray that the defense can force a handful of punts. If Bean has to throw a lot, he will turn the ball over (both fumbles and int's).

Come on NT, don't humiliate yourselves. At least very few people nationally will actually watch the game today as most have to work.

I told you before I have moved on to Cricket. They are part of the unionized AT&T system.

Jerry Moore’s first head coaching job was at North Texas.
Yeah but he isn’t calling the shots for y’all anymore.

It’s always seemed to me that Charlie Cobb pushed Moore out against Moore’s wishes. Did most App fans agree with Cobb’s decision?

A bit painful at the time in how it was handled but in hindsight it was the correct thing to do even if it caused some raw emotions. Jerry Moore comes around and has season tickets from what I have been told. He is getting part of the north end zone complex named after himself.

I don't think anyone is really missing Charlie Cobb.

I think Healy wanted to spend more time interviewing for other jobs and working on establishing C.Lit at a winning program so he can pop his shirt off a little more often.

No clue. I have a flip phone, so social media and me don't go well together. With our record, the UNT players are probably just glad to be there. I doubt they are too concerned with event cancelations as long as they get to kick it off. I'm sure they will discuss their time in Myrtle in the post game press conference. And, I'm sure they will have very complementary things to say. It is beautiful country out there.

Fun Fact:
Today's Myrtle Beach Bowl will be on ESPN and is the 17th national television appearance in the last 27 games for @AppState_FB
.
In 2019 App State was on national TV 7 times during a 13-1 season.

North Texas is without their passing, rushing and receiving leaders today.

Oh boy.

I'm sorry, this Coastal turf is god awful ugly. I'm fine with the stadium, and not against the color itself...but the turf just makes the game harder to watch.

It's terrible. The glare is bad. The color/glare makes it look like a washed out 1980's game on local UHF

Good call with the 1980's look. That's exactly what it is.

The clueless announcers not knowing the difference between unsportsmanlike conduct and a personal foul is a big negative. Sideline reporter has to save the booth.

There in no question we should lose this game but good lord these refs have been calling it one sided so far.

4 or 5 calls already that have screwed us over.
