Nearly every pick or reported pick to fill out Biden's incoming Cabinet is greeted with disdain from the likes of Al Sharpton, the NAACP, and every other race-obsessed group and figure on the Left (which is to say, everyone in the Democratic Party).

As of last week, Biden had planned to include in his Cabinet at least seven women in senior roles, three of whom are black and two of whom are of Asian descent. There's also a black man whom Biden is expected to nominate for secretary of defense.

And yet, still, that's not enough. It's never enough when you start playing this game.

None of the people Biden is reportedly considering for attorney general are black, and that has upset Sharpton, who thinks the position should be filled with a black candidate.

When Biden announced notable white man Tom Vilsack as his nominee for secretary of agriculture, the head of the NAACP took exception because Vilsack once fired a black woman. Mind you, Vilsack previously held the same role when he was appointed by a black man named Barack Obama.

Biden was reported to have initially wanted Michele Flournoy as his next defense secretary. But he caved on that one and went with Gen. Lloyd Austin, who is black. That, naturally, hit a sore spot with women who wanted to see a first female head of the Defense Department.

This is all because Biden, very much by necessity, got himself mired in the identity politics scheme during the campaign, vowing that his first and foremost concern for a running mate was that she be a woman.

When race, gender, and sexual identity take precedence, this is how things go. Merit becomes secondary, the B Team is elevated, and we're all miserable.

Now, Biden is in a bind, and there's no way out that will make everyone happy.

Well, this is what happens when you dance with the devil. Biden pandered to racists like Al Sharpton and now they want their "reward." And it all started by him saying he'd pick his VP not based on credentials but by what's between its legs and what color its skin was.
