OT: Baylor football finally gets its day in "court"
https://www.espn.com/college-football/st...lt-scandal

IMO this will play out something like.....well since nobody involved is still here the case will be dismissed as the current players shouldn't be punished (post season ban, scholarship reductions, etc) for something that happened 4 years ago. We will make you vacate 2 wins of your choice from the years that the events did occur though.

Here's the first 2 paragraphs from the article

More than two years after receiving an NCAA notice of allegations, and more than four years after firing football coach Art Briles and disciplining other administrators for their roles in a sexual assault scandal, Baylor officials are scheduled to appear before the NCAA Committee on Infractions on Monday.

The hearing is scheduled to take place virtually over two days.

I saw on the local Dallas-Ft Worth news today that Art Briles resigned from his high school Head coaching position TODAY. This is leading many to believe he has accepted --or is about to accept-- a new college job somewhere.

If he gets back into college coaching, he'll make somebody a very good football coach. He might be the best football coach I've ever seen.

I think it's important to remember that Art Briles didn't rape anyone. And he claims that he never hid any reports of sexual assault by his players either. Baylor has never denied that.

Well, if Briles does land another college job he better be extra squeaky clean. He'll be under a microscope for sure. Actually, I'm surprised a high school hired him.
