If the vaccine doesn't wind up being sterilizing then I wonder if it really matters. Even if 100% of the people get the vaccine the virus will still be transmitted. The only difference will be that with 95% efficacy people will not get the disease and with something close to 100% efficacy if they do get the disease it will not be serious. People who choose not to get vaccinated are only putting themselves at risk.

Hopefully once you do get the vaccine the protection will last for quite a while. If you remember, SARS CoV1 T cells were still present 17 years after infection. :)
