A subdued non-rivalry week
Surprising, given what’s at stake. The Rockets playing with a potential third in the MAC West on the line, while NIU looks to continue their perfect season. I miss the banal banter, the tedious trash talk, the recycled rebuttals of the tedious trash talk. I miss the Rocket attitude of “Sorry guys, we almost care, but not really” and the Husker entreaties to “please, PLEASE be our rivals! Ball State sucks!” At any rate it should be a battle royal (like maybe a duke or just a lord or something) for none of the marbles. Good luck, Huskers!

We should consider letting them be our rival. Michigan isn't doing them much and BG (exception last year) isn't doing us much. Win-win.
