Great late addition LT. You're gonna get your behind handed to you... But hey, it's one more week of football and against a P5 program on TV. 04-cheers

So soon after Rice/Marshall and we are still taking point spreads as predictive?

I think LaTech can do the job. I hope they do. Get a shut out, LT, and make the world look twice at CUSA!

TCU beat the #15 team last Saturday and they've won 4 of their last 5 games. I doubt we'll get anything close to a shutout, but thanks for the well wishes.

Well, I wouldn't bet the ranch on it (and I do have a ranch), but sometimes stuff happens. Don't give up until the clock reads 00:00.

RE: LA Tech vs TCU Dec 12th
LA Tech and TCU have played once before, in the Poinsettia Bowl in 2011, the year UTSA began our football program. TCU was 11-2 that year (and finished ranked #14, I believe), their only losses being 50-48 to Baylor and 40-33 in OT to SMU. LA Tech finished 8-5 that year.

It was a 31-24 win for TCU, but as we can see, LA Tech gave 'em a helluva game. I know LA Tech isn't quite as good this year as they've been in the past, but neither is TCU, so you never know. Anything can happen, and we'll all be pulling for y'all.

I’ll be eating crow as TCU bowl game got torpedoed so we now play a Texas CUSA team in the Frisco Bowl.

Props on scheduling this game! The BIG12 is overrated but with that said TCU is playing their best ball of late. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Tech goes up there and makes some noise.

How’d that work out last time?

Both teams have cleared their COVID testing. Tech left yesterday for Ft Worth. We will definitely play this game at 6 PM today.

Wow, I didn't double-check my math, but I believe that 25 of 31 snaps from scrimmage in that first quarter were from inside LA Tech's red zone. Never seen anything like that before.

What an embrassment by Skip and company tonight - no chance of anyone wanting to hire him anytime soon lol

Maybe ULM will hire Skip - lol

Ill be honest, that very much looked like a career ender. When I saw how his leg rolled in the one replay they showed, it reminded me SO much of the footage I've seen of Theisman.

Prayers for Luke Anthony. Really, really hate to see something like that.

Props to Louisiana Tech for taking on a hard challenge on short notice. Gutsy effort but TCU was just too much.

A bitter reminder that C-USA is not even in the same galaxy as P5, in terms of talent on the field.

LA Tech continuously shot itself in the foot. And made many many poor coaching decisions.

Trying unsuccessfully to return 4 or 5 kickoffs in the first half before finally using the "fair catch" rule was simply inexplicable, and inexcusable. Tech ended up starting inside its' own 15-yd line after all of the first 7 kick returns. Several of those were started inside Tech's own 5-yd line. That's where Tech lost the game. Tech had extremely poor field position after every single kickoff. Simply because our coaches were too STUPID to tell our kick returner to take advantage of the "fair catch" rule.

Ouch. Well, we've all been there. Take your P5 beatdown, cash the check, and roll on.

We returned 5 kickoffs for a TOTAL of just 66 yards (13 yards per kickoff return). Nothing like putting our inexperienced offensive players in the hole on our own 4 yard line, then our own 7 yard line to start the game. Just let the ball go out of the damned endzone and take it on the 25. Stupid %^#*$@r!!!!
