According to The Spun, Matt Campbell is the popular choice to replace Harbaugh at Michigan should Harbaugh leave Michigan. Maybe he'll take Candle with him and we can promote Kehres to HC even though we are all in the consensus of no more Mt. Union guys.

He's a proven position coach, his salary would be about the same, wife could keep her job and no one would have to move.

We would need to start a huge campaign for the current Iowa State OC to be named the new head coach there, thus freeing up the spot for Candle. Win-win-win!

not really sure that program has the appeal it once had, but also rumors that Campbell has also captured the eye of the NFL -that could be his next big jump

did not hear this first on this site. Campbell has been rumored to go to Michigan for at least the past 45 days. I don't see it happening, but you never know. If he wants to make another move upward, now would be the time to go for it.
