Eh, I'd bet Nike is doing us a favor. Our gold's didn't fit right so maybe they are making up for that. We also could have something in the contract that we get new unis every year or something. If the blues and whites didn't need replaced maybe we got the blacks? The large Toledo is sharp. Would be awesome for a packed night game.

what's the politicall word... if I type long enough.. optics. It's not good optics regardless how the money is spent. Good optics is,

Sure, someone, somewhere made a salary making those uniforms. But optics.... I've watched games where even announcers are laughing at the uniforms thing. Promoting looks over substance? Not the time for it. It's a time to show austerity and modesty. JMHO Of course, if the uniforms look cool, I'll smile but then, feel bad about it. :)

I guess I also don’t understand why wearing new unis that will be seen by 217 people on ESPN3 is so important.
