Phenomenal. What an awesome accomplishment. The XC program and coach are totally underrated. He has really built NIU’s program into a consistent winner. I hope more people start to take notice and this creates more awareness for his program and the team.

Northern Illinois University cross country team came out on the winning end of a tight finish at the conference championship, edging Toledo by three points to win the 2020 MAC Championship on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 21).

At the one-mile mark in the race, the Huskies were in sixth as a team, improving to fourth by mile two before moving to the front of the field in the second half of the six-kilometer race.

Congrats to the Women's Cross Country Team. What an awesome win!!!

Ok, I’ll bite. What’s the matter?

Unless you’re at miles vs kilometers. 6Km is about 3.7 miles so it still makes sense.
