Congrats on Your Win
over Toledo, that's the outcome I was hoping for.

Our game next Wednesday has a chance to be another great battle in the history of this storied rivalry.

FIRE UP CHIPS!

Thank you.

What can you tell us about the Chips this year, both good & bad?

Amazing comeback win for you guys.

- Very deep at WR.
- TE is a total unknown/non-factor right now.
- Both of our RB are talented; Lewis had 1,000 yards last year.
- QB Moore still suspended, Richardson is our starter and has looked solid but shaky last game in the 1st half. Guys built like Eddie Lacy.
- DL looks great. We did lose our best DE though.
- Our best LB got concussed/ejected last night; must sot 1st half WMU.
- DB looked bad week 1 and good week 2. Transfers from Florida and ISU.
- Punter is a stud, K is solid so far.
- OL was a big unknown but looks good.

Overall, we are a top MAC team. Not sure we are the best though. Expecting a very tough game. Bias aside we know WMU are a good team.

RE: Congrats on Your Win
Next week will be a real test. I think Toledo and WMU have more talented rosters than CMU, but McElwain is a good coach. That's clear as day. He's fitting pieces together where they will have the most impact.

I think both WMU and CMU have a few strengths and a few weaknesses. Neither are complete teams. Both are a little banged up right now, too.

I really hope some of our DEs are healthy next week. It's a position that entered the season without a ton of depth, and now Fayad and Carter are banged up.

It should be a great game and will likely be for all the marbles in the West. As it should be. I love when our rivalry has championship implications.

RE: Congrats on Your Win
I would like to think next Wednesday would be for "all the marbles" but after CMoo we still have to play two teams (EMU, NIU) who beat us last year and a Testicle Tech team that seems to give us trouble almost every year even when we're better than them.

as Yogi said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."

Which last night proved once again.

NIU is in a total rebuild, you'll have no trouble beating them. EMU and Ball State, OTOH, are quality opponents that can compete with any team in the conference.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)

RE: Congrats on Your Win
The biggest strength/relief for CMU is no arrogant prick Dan Enos, or babbling stooge John Bonemego as head coach.

WMU made a lot of "hay" off those fools, at CMU's expense, for many years.

CMU's current coach is actually competent.

That said, WMU has more speed and the home field advantage at "Waldo North Stadium" where CMU hasn't had success against the Mighty Broncos since 2010.

Cheers!

I'm not going to lie, as much as i love burying CMU in these games, they're amazing games when both teams are good.

I'm starting to get concerned about the conference's ability to get all 6 games in without pulling the plug. Lots of college games getting cancelled/postponed this past week, and the ol' covid curve ain't looking too good.

Yeah, I noticed the same. We'll probably have at least one cancelled & 1 postponed as well
