Arizona Notice of Allegations
https://www.cbssports.com/college-basket...er-report/

Nine charges of misconduct, including five Level I allegations and a lack of institutional control. Arizona has 90 days to respond to the allegations set forth by the NCAA, and the NCAA will then have 60 days to formally address that response.

Will be interesting to see what penalties end up sticking, not only as it relates to other schools involved in the FBI scandal (Kansas, LSU, NC State, OK State), but also in comparison to Louisville, UNC, USC, etc. If there is one consistency with the NCAA it is that it is inconsistent. I would not be shocked by any outcome at this point.

For the PAC, Oregon, USC, Stanford and UCLA are all presently in the top-25 for 2021 recruits. Last year, only Arizona and Stanford (along with Arizona) were in the top-25 for recruiting. If the PAC is able to be successful without Arizona (for any number of seasons, due to possible postseason ban), other programs will need to step up and help carry the torch.

Damn, the NCAA is going to level Pueblo State or some other smaller college. Arizona will wind up with a slap on the wrist.

I just wonder if Arizona will be as high as the NCAA reaches with this one. As in, is Arizona the bell cow? Can’t help but think that a problem with a domino effect of one (other programs, such as Kansas) getting hit and then watching others respond is what if Arizona is able to swing back, not take much of a hit, because others have already been through this? Giving too much time to other schools to study this. I’d have been impressed if it was just an onslaught on several schools at once and not allowing others to look at what was happening with their peers.

RE: Arizona Notice of Allegations
By now, the Arizona AD must have done due diligence on the core allegations...$10k per month from Coach Miller to Ayton is a concrete charge. It’s surprising that Arizona wouldn’t have made any evidence available and/or issued stronger statements denying the specific actions.

Lawyering-up buys time, but it can’t be truly helpful to the university nor the basketball program. Sean Miller still coaching without the AD or University’s support is awkward.
