RE: Dear Neighbor
From the article

The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office in Florida said in a Facebook post that the messages appear to be a scam.

Also, the chariman of the Proud Boys not only specifically denied it, but said it was voter intimidation and the person responsible should go to jail for a very long time. Not exactly the sort of thing you'd expect a leader of a group would do if he thought it could be his people... not unprecedented, but stupid. The ability to track emails is pretty easy... at least to know if the name was the actual source.... and if it wasn't them, why would you hide your identity by using server jumps and then put your own name on it??

Could be Russia. Could be Democrats. Both would certainly have access to Democrats voter rolls.

Sure it could be Russia or Democrats (although I don't think Dems would want to risk scaring their own voters), but the same could be said of these letters, could be any number of outside agitators.

Point is it's ridiculous to claim only one side engages in stupid behavior, especially before we even know what's going on.

Boy, it's almost like all sides have wackos and idiots.

But only one side is terrorizing multiple cities by committing arson, looting, murder, and attacks on people for exercising free speech in order to force a political agenda. This conduct is organized terrorism by the left who want to destroy our constitutional system.

The right end of the spectrum may have a few lone nuts that commit isolated acts of terrorism, but nothing approaches the scale and threat of Leftists organizations trying to overturn the government.

And when people on the right do it, the Red governors and the federal government lock them up. When people on the left do it, the left's VP candidate bails them out of jail in the rare instance when they are arrested.

Yes, good luck with that, I suspect most Trump supporters have a few guns to protect their home.

THis was IRANANIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE and has been confirmed by the FBI and DNI, and you (and all of the left) fell for it and propagated it.

Both sides are getting these kinds of messages. Both sides are falling for it. Additionally, both sides are blaming the other side for it. If you think these shenanigans are unique to one side or the other, you're the target demographic for such.

Nope, only one side is falling for it.

Sure, Jan.

Well, the only story I saw on the 7 TVs at the gym last night while on the elliptical were about people on the left getting it... and 5 of the 7 outlets failed to say anything about the denial, or any connection/tracing to anywhere else. The two who did were both fox outlets (local and national).... so WMU, you just called at least 5 of our 7 media sources ridiculous.

There is more than one way to jump to a conclusion... What you DON'T say can be just as important.... like its clear that we knew for a fact that this didn't come from the PBs almost immediately (having seen such spams as we all have, all you usually have to do is hover over the address to see that what shows on the page as '@microsoft.com' is actually 'uigrfiuugrio87487@spamhost.co.ru'

It's also notable that the group who has most fervently condemned this action and called for incarceration of anyone who would engage in intimidating actions are the supposed domestic terrorists. I don't know enough about the PBs to say anything about them either way, but I've seen MUCH more aggressive actions and failures to denounce threats of violence, much less actual violence from groups like BLM.

Crazys do exist on both sides... but only one side has the media running cover for their crazys... and this has been a perfect example of it.

WMU as to the letter scaring off Democrats... that's a convenient though transparent ruse (not that you are doing it, but as a defense). The email went to small numbers of people, but millions of people heard about it. Nobody who didn't get the email would feel threatened, but millions would feel like someone was trying to intimidate Democrats. The number of Democrat voters you would encourage is vastly greater than the number of voters you would scare off... and this idea of motivating the base to get out there and vote AGAINST Trump... and not FOR candidates whom they have never once supported in any numbers before... who don't even represent the half of the party that supported Bernie... has been quite clear from day 1, and made even more clear by Obamas one and only, last minute appeal.

Even Obama can't really bring himself to endorse Biden, except to oust Trump.
