Her district is mostly the City of St. Louis. So she'll probably win.

She unseated 10-term incumbent Democrat Lacy Clay in the primary by running to his left. Hard to do, since Clay is pretty far left. Clay voted against TARP, voted for impeaching Trump, co-sponsored the Green New Deal. A couple years ago he kept re-hanging a painting on the Ferguson unrest in the Capitol after it was repeatedly taken down by Capitol employees and Congressional Republicans. At one point he even called Capitol Police on Republican Duncan Hunter, accusing Hunter of theft. Clay sued and lost in court.

Clay won the seat in 2001 after his father Bill Clay retired after 32 years in office. He's lived in DC almost his entire life, and several articles suggest that is how Bush was able to beat him.

This mentality isn't far from the liberal standard. I'd say 2-3 years and the same, large populations of unintelligent people will be painting this on signs and it will be paraded in front of CNN cameras as normal and acceptable.

If one is in a solid blue district a Dem can run as far left as they want and be safe.
