To ease stress, here’s a thread about position battles. Here’s the initial depth chart: https://twitter.com/berry_seth14/status/...51392?s=21

RE: 2020 Depth Chart
Very interesting to not see Eskridge on defense at all. Even though they are at a disadvantage because of the way this season has gone, it will be interesting to see if any true freshman work themselves into a spot to get some playing time like Eston Miles or Logan Wilson. It is however a huge advantage to all the players that they will have a season but not use up a year of eligibility. It will be nice to see the Broncos play this season knowing that all players will be back next season.

RE: 2020 Depth Chart
Not many surprises. True freshmen slotted to get playing time are Sambucci at WR and Kilburg at safety.

Hall above Bussell at WR. Fiske over McCabe at DT. The 2nd string LBs are Selig, Bonnema, and McCree. Kargman is QB2 and Salopek is QB3. Those are really the only things of note.

I hope that Hall—like Carrington Thompson—reaches his full potential on gameday, and before his senior year.

Agreed, I keep waiting for Hall to breakout. I think this could be a great year for him and Bussel, and we know Moore is a gamer already. Should be a fun season.

Trying to grasp the idea of the free eligibility year.

So there will be 6 classes going forward? So seniors get an extra year and theN 4 classes plus recruits in the mix?

Should prove interesting plus will there be the possibility of both 5th year and 6th year eligible to transfer out? Or in!

Gonna be interesting.

So with the transfer rules, I imagine this is going to most hurt the marginal FCS guys who get pushed out of playing time, but who normally would be lettering at least a season or two. Crushes a lot of dreams. I wonder if they'll extend the roster limits for a year or two.

Also, I wonder how guys like Wesley French handle it. Another year of grad school? Good financial deal if they want that.

Anyone who loves club or sprint football: this is your opportunity to make it happen!

Teams will be allowed to go to 95 scholarships for next year but need to return to 85 after that. Probably a good thing for WMU to be honest. I'm not sure if/how long they'd be able to pay for additional scholarships.
