Ethics in corporate board rooms
Just heard a sermon about ethics. One of the points brought up was that 49% of CEOs removed were removed due to ethics. First time it has been the #1 reason.

I've long said most American companies thrive in spite of their CEOs, not because of them.

I think how we see companies acting really does support the lack of ethics by those who get to the top.

It does. And there is very little difference between Bezos at Amazon, Gates at Microsoft, and Scott of the PAC 12., except the first two are at least competent enough to succeed, while Gates is bright enough to cover his public image with his own charity.

Not to defend the fired CEOs, but the sphere of what’s considered “ethics” has greatly expanded over the last 20 years, as well as what is good and bad within that sphere.
