So nobody wants to do what the President wants to because it's Donald Trump?

Trump, if any of your people read this board, if Biden decides to hold a town hall, hold one at the same time and air it on Fox.. Let the ratings decide the excitement.

And Trump will hold a rally. This happened in 2016 too. He raised millions for veterans and told the media to go frick themselves.

For a guy we are being told is up 16 points nationally, he sure is spending a lot of time in PA.

If Biden was even up just 5 points, he wouldnt be in PA. He would be in TX, GA, and OH trying to flip those states.

So do it that way.

Trump will still refuse because he won't be able to railroad Biden and the moderator. He can only debate via antics, not on substance. The dirty little secret is Trump as POTUS has advisors whispering in his ear.

LOL, how odd that's your takeaway from this. Well, not really. This is just another way for the left to provide cover for Biden. There's no way they want him participating in a slug fest again. They barely propped him up last time even with a hugely sympathetic moderator.

RE: Trump: No Virtual Debate, No Second Debate
I don't see this costing Trump many if any votes. These days anyone can just look up a candidate online. At this point people know who Trump is. The media would just declare Biden winner anyways and was already set to. It's probably more beneficial he hold a campaign event in a swing state, not necessarily a rally, but something else maybe.

I'm telling you. The internal polling for the campaigns are more accurate than what we see in the media.

Biden is either behind here or barely ahead...

He was in AZ yesterday again. I have a hard time seeing Trump winning if AZ flips, tho it's possible

Its doubtful AZ flips at the presidential level due to the number of hispanics that are trending to Trump. But the dems want Biden in AZ because of the senate race, which probably got a lot tighter since Kelly has taken a tremendous amount of incoming in the past week. The dems senate hope went to ashes this week with Cal Cunninghams multiple mistresses and army investigation going on, and John James making it close in Michigan.

Watching a Bush/Kerry debate on YouTube

There's little lights that light up so the nominees & the viewer know how they're doing on time. Not sure if the nominees today can still see how they're doing on time, but whatever happened to the viewer being able to see that light?

EDIT: It's amazing, for the most part they're talking about the exact same stuff they're talking about now.....

Part of the problem is the moderators drone on an on with the question---inserting all sort of loaded language---creating a complicated set of false statements that must be addressed before a substantive answer can be given. You get 2 minutes to do it---which is about as long as commercial for My Pillow. You get one minute to for a rebuttal. Thats even a more ridiculous task. Fewer questions--more time to answer each would help. The sound bite crap is not helpful if your really trying to some substantive answers for the voters.

How about this. Dump the moderator. Its so obvious who they favor. "Mr Trump, why are you racist?". "Vice President Biden--Whats your favorite color?" The moderators are waste of time and are embarrassing themselves if they think nobody notices their left hand mashing down on the scale.

Let the Democrats submit the questions for the Republican candidate and vice versa. Do that, and you KNOW both sides will get the toughest question and that they will be the questions that best highlight the most significant differences between the candidates.

For much of the past four years, Republican politicians were scared above all about incurring the wrath of the president and his supporters with any stray gesture or remark that he might regard as not sufficiently deferential. Now, several of them are evidently more scared of not being viewed by voters as sufficiently independent."

Several of those are running up for election trying to attract independents and/or fear mongering to get the R vote out. 03-yawn
