Glad the limited teams this season are putting more games on regular sat radio. In previous years, they would cover the games, but only on the "streaming" stations that you can't get in your car. Even Central Arkansas-UAB was on last night.

Got really excited for the bolded as I usually stop by my mom's for dinner on Saturday nights after work. I've got sirius in my car so it would be nice to not have to rush home to catch the start as I don't even get out of work until 5pm CT and have a half an hour drive home.

Then I realized my car is still in the shop having work done

Guess I'll be rushing home anyways lol

If we both get full seasons in, I'm going to send a thank you letter to the Shelby County Health Department for somehow making it possible for us to average more fans per game than you guys this season...

To be clear, I have no problem with what the Shelby County Health Department is doing. Limiting the spread of Covid which has killed people I know is more important than going to a college football game.

Tom III (a live Tiger mascot) is not allowed on the field because it is a well known fact that a tiger enclosed in plexiglass is a virus spreader or receiver. Similarly, it makes perfect sense to mandate a 12 foot distance and wearing masks outside at the LB while allowing Memphis movie goers 6 feet distance and no masks upon seating inside a poorly ventilated theater.

Its not the issue that Shelby County is trying to force social distancing...its the fact its exceeding unequal.

They closed bars...except Beale Street bars, because they are not technically "bars" by the law. I can go watch a movie in a poorly ventilated theatre and only have to stay 6 feet away from someone else, but in an open air setting at a football game, it has to be 12 feet.

I just don't understand the logic at all...

Sirius doesn't sound bad at 60 bucks for a year subscription.

point of order, TOM's travel trailer isnt enclosed in Plexiglass, its tempered safety glass. it is actually quite an advanced piece of engineering
