Seriously, the four seasons of the year are Winter Already, Still Winter, STILL Winter, and Roadwork.

The Commissioner is simply doing what the Prez decide. It isn't his decision to make.

Not all presidents think alike. Some wanted to play in the fall, some didn't, and some were on the fence. Mr. Warren wanted spring ball right from the beginning. He persuaded the ones on the fence and the rest is history. A commissioner is paid millions of dollars to be the voice of reason that brings the president's to be united. He had one goal and one goal only, no fall football for the Big 10!
This all sounds a bit too political to me and as far as I'm concerned, Mr. Warren can take his ball, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, and go play somewhere else.
This conference is a mess and yes, Presidents have power, but Mr. Warren isn't paid millions to set around with his thumb up his a$$. President's have much larger responsibilities than Mr. Warren, he gave his twist to them and here we are.
By the way, this November start time being thrown around is a joke!!!

So, would they be eligible for the CFP playoffs?
If you're going to go with Thanksgiving, just go ahead and start late Oct and play 5 or 6 games and be eligible for CFP.

Lol, well if you put it that way, the whole plan does seem kind of dumb, doesn't it?
Do they really expect numbers to be that much better in January? If they couldn't play in September when the weather is nice, why would they play in the winter when the weather sucks?
If you want to take the shortsighted sarcastic point of view but you know full well this has nothing to do with weather. We all know it would be better and safer for the athletes if students were not on campus. Well the students will not be on campus after Thanksgiving so yeah it is safer to play later in the year or early next year with no students on campus.
And if you can play these games in dome stadium during the winter/early Spring then why not do it? I expect the doom and gloom folks against Winter/Spring football to hope it is not successful....lol.
You mean like you're doing for fall football?
And I wasn't talking about the weather. I was talking about indoors vs. outdoors.
