IMO, Sheiby Foote was one of the best historians that was part of Ken Burn's PBS documentary The Civil War.

News seems to be traveling slowly down in the Sip. We went to my in-laws this weekend and saw quite a few folks flying the "old" Miss state flag at their homes. Must not have heard its been changed.

It's "officially" changed, which means anything associated with the Mississippi government can't fly it, but they didn't (nor could they) ban it.

Oh I know. Its just a refreshing sight to see so many Mississippians (in-laws included) give a big middle finger to the SJW crowd.
