Summary of sports programs for SBC members
My attempt to count the sports for each member school to see who is at the minimum. The 3 schools I'm fairly confident are over the minimum are App State (even after the subtraction of sports), Coastal Carolina, and Little Rock. The "running sports" make things confusing.

Any corrections are appreciated.

Sun Belt Sports include 16 sports (football members can have all but 1 sport and be at the minimum)
Football
Baseball
Softball
Volleyball
M&W Basketball,
M&W Soccer
M&W Tennis
M&W Golf
M&W T&F
M&W Cross Country

At minimum number of sports:

UTA: (UTA has no football and has a smaller sports minimum)
SBC Sports they don't have (3): Football, Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer
Non-SBC Sports: None

Georgia Southern:
SBC Sports they don't have (2): Men's Track, Men's Cross Country
Non-SBC Sports (2): Women's Rifle (SoCon), Swimming and Diving (CCSA)

Ark State:
SBC Sports they don't have (4): Softball, Men's Soccer, Men's Tennis, Men's Track and Field
Non-SBC Sports(1): Women's Bowling

Georgia State
SBC Sports they don't have (2): Men's Track, Men's Cross Country
Non-SBC Sports (1): Beach Volleyball (CCSA)

UL
SBC Sports they don't have (1): Men's Soccer
Non-SBC sports: None

ULM
SBC Sports they don't have (2): Men's Soccer, Men's Tennis
Non-SBC sports (1): Beach Volleyball (CCSA)

South Alabama
SBC Sports they don't have (1): Men's Soccer
Non-SBc Sprots: None

Texas State
SBC Sports they don't have (2): Men's Soccer, Men's Tennis
Non-SBC Sports: None

Troy
SBC Sports they don't have (1): Men's Soccer
Non-SBC Sports: None

Teams over the Minimum:
Coastal Carolina
SBC Sports they don't have: None
Non-SBC Sports (2): Women's Lacrosse (ASUN), Beach Volleyball

Appalachian State
SBC Sports they don't have: Men's Soccer, Men's Tennis
Non-SBC Sports: MEn's Wrestling (SoCon), Women's Field Hockey (MAC)

Little Rock (like UTA, no FBS football means a lower minimum)
SBC Sports they don't have (3): Men's Soccer, Softball, Men's Tennis
Non-SBC Sports: Wrestling (Pac-12), Swimming and Diving (MVC)

RE: Summary of sports programs for SBC members
I'm guessing "The "running sports" make things confusing." refers to cross country and track & field. A school with men's and women's XC, men's and women's indoor T&F, and men's and women's outdoor T&F is counted as 6 sports (3m/3w). Although some of the athletes are the same, each sport is counted separately.

Arkansas State doesn't have a Men's Track and Field? I'd be interested how we got all of the NCAA All Americans, Sunbelt Champs, etc. with no team. Not to mention both our Men's and Women's track team won the Indoor championship just a few months ago...

In the Non-SBC sports, we also have Softball(club sport unfortunately) and a Top Rugby program.

So, am I reading this right that Little Rock and UTA need only sponsor 14 sports, since they aren’t FBS, but are still in an FBS conference? I’m not complaining; I just am curious.

For schools with FBS football, 16 is the minimum; 14 is the minimum for D1.

Division I members have to sponsor at least 14 sports. This is required for all SBC teams including UTA and Little Rock. That can be 7 men and 7 women sports, or 6 men and 8 women sports. The 16 sport minimum is only for Division I teams that sponsor FBS football.

AState has Mens Track and Field. Its where we get large portions of Bubbas Cup Points

Bowling is the one sport we offer that is not SBC Sponsored.
