I have a friend who lives in Florida. Claims to be an independent, but had consistently voted Democrat (surprising, right?). In Florida's recent election for governor, he voted for DeSantis, claiming the Democrat candidate was too far left. He is happy with DeSantis.

Sorry, but his actually testifying that you're wrong about the job DeSantis is doing does not amount to whataboutism from the other side. Please learn the difference. Besides, TexanMark currently lives in Florida. He'd know better than you about how his state's governor is doing.

I had zero hope for DeSantis but he's been much better than his predecessor and will earn my vote for reelection.
