True. But in all fairness, I can't look at any team right now and predict dominance. I think it will be a lot like last season.

Yeah, I agree. Seems like there's a lot of parity right now. But hey, my preseason projections turn out way off every year, so who knows...the MAC is hard to predict.

They just have some intern look @ the standings from last year & repeat it.

I think you'll see major improvements at Toledo.
Especially on the Defensive side of the FB with the new staff.

They rank Kent's QB as the #8 QB in the country for 2020 yet think that would translate to 4 wins. Seems pretty legit.

The reason Ohio's so high up there in the preseason rankings is that we've won 3 straight bowl games in convincing fashion.

Also it seems like in any given year while we are rebuilding at a few positions others return proven. Last year the RB/WR was depleted going into the season yet the best QB in the conference. This year RB/WR is experienced yet a new QB.

The cupboard is always 80% stocked for a run at the MAC East. Recruiting classes are small but they are built for need rather than a quick talent injection. BG for example just needs to sign the best talent it can find regardless of situation.

it will be a competition for sure for the starting QB, but Nathan's younger brother is one of the competitors!

Akron probably plays one of the easiest schedules in FBS this year. YSU, NMSU, UMass, and BG are all winnable games. I just didn't see anything from last years team that would lead me to believe that Akron would win all 4 of those.
